Rumble brings a bolder flavour spectrum, serving South-East Asian dishes and a sharp pre-theatre set menu — plus happy hour every Wednesday to Friday from 4pm–6pm and 8pm till close.

Prefer something different? The Star also offers premium steakhouses, international buffets and casual favourites at the Food Court, so there’s something for every appetite (and curtain time).

Planning your visit

Getting to Sydney Lyric from Hotel Woolstore 1888 is easy — just a short 10–15 minute walk or a breezy ride on the light rail from Pyrmont Bay, with The Star station just two stops away.

Once inside, give yourself time to settle in. The doors open 30–60 minutes before showtime, and the licensed bars are the perfect spot for a pre-show sip. Note that only small bags (A4 or smaller) are permitted, with cloakroom services available if needed.
